As the end to a family Christmas holiday we brought our family party of 11 here for a final "Chippy Tea" on New Year's Day.Mikela looked after us from taking our phone booking the day before to single handedly serving us at our tables.The food was first class and the service superb. Mikela was super efficient and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. For sit-down Fish & Chips this is the place to eat in the Rhos-on-Sea and Llandudno area.

This lovely little shop offers the charm of yesteryear. The restaurant side is compact with wicker style chairs and old fashioned decor that fit the feel perfectly. The fish served to my family looked fantastic but the comment was "it was mostly batter". Being vegetarian I opted for a cheese and onion pasty, won't choose that again, I didn't like it, but the chips were perfect! The servers were polite, food arrived quickly. I felt that the locals were greeted warmly and visitors less so but I could have been just a little over sensitive.
Quality varies. Better in high tourist season. Cafe cramped. Smoky. Cold in winter. Hot in summer. Needs updating and maintaining. When food at its best quality is excellent.
I have eaten here a number of times, always ordering the haddock chips pot of tea, my grandsons enjoy eating here too. The cafe is clean, tidy and well presented. A nice way to unwind after a day on the beach. !!
