Called into this store to return a Hermes parcel, asked the lady on the till if I could do it at till or did I have to use post office, she said quite clearly it was the post office. Qued for 15 minutes with one position open and one closed with a member of staff counting stamps. The one that was open was more interested in chatting to her friend at the closed position than serving the customers. Totally useless staff that couldn't care less about customers. When I finally got to the till the useless member of staff told me that they do not take Hermes parcels. Useless.
Ordered (emergency) foreign currency yesterday. Advised it would be delivered after 13.00 hrs today. Called just after 13.00 hrs to collect, not arrived. Clerk promised the currency would arrive today. Called again at 16.00 hrs still not arrived and would not now arrive today. Needed money today or not at all as travelling tomorrow early, asked for refund. No one in Post Office with the authority to refund. Will now have to wait over a week to go in for a refund. Will have to hope when i go back someone is there who can authorize refund. Don't offer a "guaranteed" service you can't guarantee. Totally rubbish service!
Worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my life from the woman in the post office this morning, clearly hates her job has no people skills what so ever very rude rolling her eyes huffing and puffing clearly didnt want to help me or anyone else in the queue for that matter, all she cared about was getting out at 1pm I was sick of hearing that by the time i left. time to look for a new job that thats doesnt envolve dealing with people...obsolutly shocking!!!! I wouldnt be putting any stars at all if that was an option!
This is a review for the post office itself, not the family shopper which is great.Let's be honest, the quality of a post office that's been shoe-horned into a convenience store is down to the level of service and attitude offered by the staff.And it's a mixed bag here - you may get a really helpful relaxed PO worker or a customer-hating dragon breathing fire with every scowl.Hit and miss.If you have proper extensive PO business then go elsewhere but if you're mailing a birthday card then it's probably worth the risk.
